Eco and Sustainable Schools
Our school has already achieved the Bronze and Silver Eco-Schools Awards. Children learn about recycling and management of waste, about energy consumption and the need to monitor how we use electricity and water. They learn about walking or cycling to school instead of using cars or buses.

Linked to this is the Birmingham Sustainable Schools Award. In 2013-14, our children were able to complete the programme and were awarded their certificate by the Lord Mayor of Birmingham, Councillor Shafique Shah at the Council House in June 2014. We intend to extend this further in the future and will be applying for the Recycling Award in 2015.
