This week in Forest School we have been learning about an artist called Andrew Goldsworthy. The children were shown photos of his art and they discussed how he uses natural materials to create it. The children were encouraged to describe what they saw. Making comments such as ‘It looks like a Christmas tree.’ ‘It’s a circle’ It’s a snake.’ We then worked in small groups to make our own artwork using natural materials. They looked amazing, well done children.
