This week the children have been introduced to Concept Cat. He is a very clever cat who helps to develop the children’s vocabulary. This week Concept Cat was teaching us about empty and not empty. Concept Cat’s story this week was all about when he was feeling hungry one day so he went looking for something to eat in his kitchen. He found an empty cereal box and an empty biscuit tin but then he found a fruit bowl which was not empty! He really enjoyed his fruit. The children have revisited the concept of empty through activities in the environment and have been using the vocabulary ’empty’. Well done everyone.
