Destiny Africa 2We were so lucky to have some of the members from ‘Destiny Africa’ children’s choir visit us at Nursery. They sang and danced for us, let us have a go on their drums and taught us a song of theirs. The choir is made up of children who have been adopted by Kampala Children’s Centre in Uganda. Kampala Children’s Centre was a project established in 2005 built as a response to the wide-ranging crisis of war, HIV/AIDS, and poverty, prevalent throughout Uganda, creating millions of orphans. Many children are adopted by the Centre, and have found healing from their trauma through art, creativity, dancing and song. It really was an honor to have them join us, what an inspiration to us all.

Article 2 The Convention applies to everyone: whatever their race, religion or abilities, whatever they think or say, whatever type of family they come from.
