This week we received a letter from Eddie the explorer! First of all we discussed what an explorer was, one child said ‘ Someone who goes on an adventure.’ Another child said ‘ Someone who looks for animals.’ We carried on reading his letter and it asked for help in packing his bag because he wanted to go and visit the polar bears at the North Pole. Eddie had sent all of his Summer and Winter clothes and the children had to sort the clothes to pack that would keep him warm. They did a super job and at the end of the activity we locked his case and Debbie took it to the airport to give to Eddie.
