We had some exciting visitors this week at Nursery. Some of the firefighters from our local fire station came to Nursery. The children looked at their uniform and why each piece was very important, tried it on if they wanted to, talked about what the firefighters do and then we went outside to look at the small fire engine the BRV. The firefighters then showed us how they get water from the pipes underground and how they then use the hose to spray the water. The children got to have a go at spraying the water too 👍😊. A massive thank you to Sheldon fire crew for taking the time to visit us.
