We had another lovely Forest School session last week and the children were all very busy. Some children wanted to make a den/tent. The adults followed the children’s ideas and supported them in tying ropes to make a structure. One child commented ‘That’s my swing inside my tent.’ The adults then suggested using a tarpaulin and worked with the children to put it up. Lots of children had fun accessing this area having picnics and tea parties. One child decided to have a campfire underneath commenting. ‘Come into my camp fire here’s your marshmallow, only adults touch the fire cause it’s dangerous.’
